Canada has invited Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Saab to submit bids for 88 fighters

Four aerospace companies have been invited by Canada to submit bids for 88 fighter aircraft. They are: Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Saab.

A winner will be selected in 2022 and the first aircraft will be delivered as early as 2025.

The Public Services and Procurement Canada says “this is the most significant investment in the Royal Canadian Air Force in more than 30 years.”
