A B-52H has dropped a LGB from the Conventional Rotary Launcher

A B-52 bomber has dropped a GBU-12 laser guided bomb from the new Conventional Rotary Launcher for the first time on Aug. 28.

USAF looking at directed-energy weapon systems for airbase defense

The U.S. Air Force Strategic Development Planning and Experimentation office has published a notice on the Federal Business Opportunities website soliciting for information on high-energy lasers or high-powered microwaves that can be tested next year.
