RQ-4s will soon be operating out of Yokota Air Base, Japan

374th Airlift Wing has announced that a detachment of RQ-4s will relocate from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam to Yokota Air Base, Japan.

An RQ-4 Global Hawk assigned to the 69th Reconnaissance Group Detachment 1 takes off at Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 5, 2017. This was its first take-off since its arrival May 1, 2017. The 69th Reconnaissance Group, 9th Reconnaissance Wing will be in charge of the move. The number of aircraft and time they arrive were not disclosed.
