South Korea to take delivery of RQ-4 from next month Posted on August 7, 2019August 7, 2019 by alert5 South Korea will take delivery of the RQ-4 unmanned air vehicles that it ordered back in 2014 next month. An RQ-4 Global Hawk assigned to the 69th Reconnaissance Group Detachment 1 takes off at Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 5, 2017. This was its first take-off since its arrival May 1, 2017. The Global Hawk supports U.S. intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance priorities, operational plans, and contingency operations throughout the Pacific theater.
