A test of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) using a new remote launcher kit was successfully carried out on Aug. 30.
The test was carried out by soldiers from the E-62 Battery, 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade at the Reagan Test Site, Kwajalein Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands
This was the 16th successful intercept in 16 attempts for the THAAD weapon system.
