Taiwan to upgrade reconnaissance capabilities of its F-16

Taiwan plans to buy a new variant of the DB-110 reconnaissance pod for its F-16 fleet.

The current pod has no night imaging capability and did not allow Taiwan to photograph Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning during its night time transit over the Taiwan Strait.
