Boeing said in a statement on Sept. 13 that Northrop Grumman has rejected its proposal to form a joint team for the Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) intercontinental ballistic missile program.

Boeing had said in July that it is not competing in the competition as Northrop Grumman has an unfair advantage because it owns Orbital ATK which is a solid rocket motor manufacturer.
