IM-SHORAD is now undergoing testing

The U.S. Army’s Initial Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense (IM-SHORAD) has arrived at Redstone Arsenal on Sept. 30 for testing.

The Cruise Missile Defense Systems Project Office says besides Redstone Arsenal, prototypes will undergo testing at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland and White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico as well.

General Dynamics Land Systems partnered with Leonardo DRS to supply a mission equipment package based on Moog’s Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform.
