Modly: “we will all be dead” when the USN reach a force level of 12 aircraft carriers

Acting U.S. Navy Secretary Thomas B. Modly told the crowd at a session organized by the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments that the service will not be able to reach a force level of 12 aircraft carriers until 2065.

He added that by that time “we will all be dead.” Modly was answering questions regarding the recently completed Integrated Force Structure Assessment (IFSA).
