Upmedia reports that Taiwan is ready to spend $907 million to purchase 10 MH-60R naval helicopters. The Shen Ying 3 project will include Mk 54 torpedoes and AGM-114 missiles.

It was originally forecast that the project would costs $1.23 billion. However, thanks to orders from Greece, India and the U.S. Navy, the numbers ordered by the Pentagon would exceed 50. This block buy will lead to savings.
