The European FREMM multipurpose frigate as been selected as the design for the U.S. Navy’s Guided Missile Frigate (FFG(X)) program.

The Marinette Marine Corporation (MMC) will be building 10 ships under the contract.
It be equipped with AN/SPY-6(V)3 radar with 3 fixed-face arrays.
