Future Carrier 2030 Task Force effort canceled

The new Acting U.S. Navy Secretary James McPherson has canceled a study initiated by his predecessor. The Future Carrier 2030 effort was supposed to be a 6-month study on the future of the aircraft carrier in the sailing branch.

F-16s, F-35s and F-22s based in Alaska to make flyover on May 15

F-16s and F-35s assigned to Eielson Air Force Base will flyover Fairbanks on May 15 to salute COVID-19 essential workers.

Two F-35A Lightning IIs and two F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to Eielson Air Force Base fly alongside two F-22 Raptors assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson as part of a mass formation flight May 5, 2020.
