Taiwan plans to buy 4 MQ-9s

Taiwan is planning to buy 4 MQ-9 unmanned air vehicles (UAV) from the U.S. and will budget at least $167 million next year for the purchase.

According to Up Media, Washington has not responded with the price yet but Taipei expects the amount budgeted is needed to buy the planes along with its associative equipment such as ground control stations and weapons.
