A F-35A assigned to the 58th Fighter Squadron has crashed. The incident happened while the jet was landing at Eglin Air Force Base.

The pilot ejected safely and was conveyed to the 96th Medical Group Hospital at the base for evaluations.
The base had lost a F-22 just four days earlier.
