Taiwan making inquiries on Poland’s Warmate loitering munitions system

Taiwan’s National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST) has made inquiries on Poland’s Warmate loitering munitions system, Up Media reports.

The institute is initiating a project named Ch’i Sun to develop a small kamikaze drone to attack amphibious landing forces.

The quotation request is for six drones with three daylight and three imaging infrared payloads.

Although NCSIST had introduced its own Flamingo loetering munition at the Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition last year. Up Media says the enquiry into Warmate suggest that the latter meets the military’s requirements.
