The U.S. Air Force has declared that the AN/APG-83 SABR active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar is fully operational on Air National Guard F-16s.

The press release from Northrop Grumman added that the 114th Fighter Wing at South Dakota is starting to receive the AN/APG-83 upgrade on their F-16s since last month.
