The Israeli Air Force has appointed the country’s first F-35 woman pilot as the deputy commander of 116th squadron.

The 26 year-old captain previously flew the F-16 with 107th squadron.
The Israeli Air Force said she is also the second woman in the world to have combat experience flying the F-35.
