Taiwan lost a Teng Yun unmanned air vehicle this evening when the drone crashes in Tai Tung.
The drone had taken off from Chih Hang air base and was making an emergency landing after encountering issues inflight. The aircraft hit trees as it approach to land. The incident happened shortly after 4 p.m. local time.
Video footage suggest this is the first version of the drone which does not have the new engine inlet.
