Philippines sending FA-50s to Whitsun Reef to buzz Chinese ships there

Philippine Defence Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said in a statement late on Mar. 27 that he will be sending the FA-50 to fly over hundreds of Chinese vessels anchored at Whitsun Reef in South China Sea.

  1. The FA 50’s are not unlike the French Mirage III. So, is China in for real trouble? This apparent military maneuver may have something to do with Wall Street bank(s) suddenly dumping 19 billion USD worth of stocks in a block trade selloff of certain Chinese tech companies??
