Former deputy commander of Liaoning sacked from China’s congress

The former deputy commander of Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning has been sacked from the country’s congress for violating “the Chinese Communist Party’s discipline and law.”

Song Xue is a deputy chief of staff of the navy and was involved in the maiden deployment of the Liaoning in 2012.
