Senators Duckworth, Sullivan, and Coons arriving in Taiwan using C-17 today

U.S> Senator Tammy Duckworth and Senator Dan Sullivan of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and Senator Christopher Coons of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee are expected to arrive in Taiwan from South Korea today and they are traveling on board a U.S. Air Force C-17.

According to UDN, the entourage will land at Taipei Songshan Airport and President Tsai Ing-wen will meet the Senators at the airport at 0830 hrs local time. The three Senators will be in Taiwan only for three hours.

News reports say the cargo plane is also expected to deliver a batch of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to Taiwan.
