Shortage of tea onboard HMS Queen Elizabeth averted thanks to Canadians

The captain of HMCS Winnipeg gave three boxes of tea bags to Commodore Steve Moorhouse, Commander of the UK Carrier Strike Group, after he found out that the flag area on aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth had run out of teabags.

Moorhouse told CBC News that he was touched by the gesture. He had been onboard the Canadian warship for a 90-minute visit and was treated to Earl Grey tea and English scones.
