The F414-GE-400 has been selected as the power plant while L3Harris will be supplier of the avionics. Ejection seat will be provided by Martin-Baker. Decisions will be made by end of the month to select companies to supply the AESA radar and cockpit displays.

According to Up Media, the aircraft will strongly resemble KAI’s KF-21 fighter as Taiwan based its studies on the F-35.
