One of the two Hermes 900 in service with the Swiss Armed Forces has made its maiden flight in Switzerland on Jun. 15.

Designated as ADS 15, the first aircraft to go airborne, registration D-14, flew for 70 minutes with a Swiss pilot at the controls.
The other aircraft, D-11, is expected to be flight tested soon and both will be transferred to the Swiss Air Force later this year.
Delivery of four more ADS 15 will commence in 2023.
