Philippine Navy Robinson R22 helicopter crashes in Cavite, killing two pilots

A Philippine Navy Robinson R22 training helicopter crashed near a public market in Cavite City, Philippines, on Thursday morning, April 11th, 2024. Both pilots onboard, a 36-year-old male pilot and a 27-year-old female co-pilot, were declared dead.

Japan Coast Guard orders three more H225 helicopters

The Japan Coast Guard (JCG) has further strengthened its rotary-wing fleet by placing an order for three additional Airbus H225 helicopters. This latest acquisition brings the JCG’s total H225 fleet to 18, solidifying their position as the leading operator of Super Puma family helicopters in Japan.
