Aviation workers studying walkout
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 776 could call for a strike a Lockheed Martin's Fort Worth factory if contract negotiations fail.
At stake is a Lockheed proposal to end insurance coverage in retirement for newly hired employees and an increase in health care premiums for current employees.
The union went on strike before in 2000 and 2003.
