Sikorsky gets R&D contract for new copter
Sikorsky Aircraft has been awarded with a System Development and Demonstration contract for the CH-53K heavy-lift helicopter.
The CH-53K will double the payload to 27,000 pounds. Maximum gross weight will increase to 84,700 pounds as well.
