Three carriers to take part in Pacific exercises
Three U.S. aircraft carriers will gather off Guam this summer for exercises. This is the first time since the Vietnam War that so many of the ships have operated in the Pacific Ocean together.
Analysts say Washington is sending political messages to Iran and North Korea that it has resources at its disposal in the event of a military confrontation with either country over its respective nuclear program.
