F-35’s projected cost up 65%, now at $382 billion

The cost of developing the F-35 is now tagged at $382 billion, a 65 percent jump compare to estimates in 2002.

The Pentagon is expected to report to Congress that production cost alone of each plane is now estimated at $92.4 million.
