Amongst the agenda being discussed between U.S. Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughead and his Russian counterpart this week was an incident that happened to USS Taylor last weekend.
The ship had left Murmansk after a visit there to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II.
Whilst sailing in international waters, it was buzzed twice by a Russian maritime patrol aircraft with its bomb bay doors opened.
The next day, a Russian warship appeared and dispatched a helicopter which circled the ship.
