Chilton: I just wanted to fly for United Airlines

Retiring four-star U.S. Air Force Gen. Kevin Chilton, 56, commander of Strategic Command, told reporters that he joined the U.S. Air Force because he figured it was the only way he get flying lessons so that he could later join United Airlines.

EADS willing to adjusting U.S. tanker bid
