ITT to test Thunder Radar Targeting Pod on F-16

The U.S. Air National Guard has awarded ITT Corp. a $4.3 million contract to integrate and test an all-weather targeting pod in its F-16 fighter aircraft. This upgraded Thunder Radar Targeting Pod will enable pilots to complete missions in the most challenging weather conditions, day or night.

Boeing and U.S. Air Force officials at Kadena Air Base celebrated the arrival of four F-15Cs upgraded with the APG-63(V)3 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar on Oct. 21.

USAF tests eight-bladed props on C-130

Squadron tests newest F-22s and live-firing of missiles

The 90th Fighter Squadron, 3rd Wing, deployed F-22s and personnel to Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., Oct. 30, to participate in exercise Combat Archer, the air-to-air evaluation portion of the United States Air Force’s Weapons Systems Evaluation Program.
