The U.S. Air Force confirmed that an independent forensic computer analysis found EADS had opened up a spreadsheet containing information on Boeing’s aerial tanker when the CDs were mixed-up and sent to wrong bidders.
“EADS opened Boeing’s spreadsheet. Boeing did not look at the EADS spreadsheet,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Les Kodlick.
To level the playing field, the Air Force decided to send both firms the other’s data and let them examine it.
