China Aviation News announced that a new third-generation fighter has made its maiden flight this Autumn with test pilot Li Guoen at the controls. Could this be the J-15?

First XXJ test pilot: Liang Wanjun

Chinese military boards are saying that the first test pilot for the new Chinese fighter is Liang Wanjun. He had previously test flown the J-7, J-10 and JF-17. Total flying hours is 2,300. Liang joined the PLA in 1982 and became a test pilot in 1998.
