RAND recommends arming B-1 with Patriot, SM-2 for a2a engagement of Chinese fighters

One of the recommendations by RAND in its latest study on Chinese air power, is to arm the B-1 bomber with 20 or more Patriot or SM-2 missiles in air-to-air role to engage Chinese fighters during a conflict in Taiwan.

MV-22 lands on West Coast LHD for first time

A MV-22 Osprey from VMM-166 landed on the U.S. Navy’s newest amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island on Tuesday. This marks the fist time an Osprey has landed on an amphibious based on the West Coast of continental United States.

Pentagon wants lower prices for next F-35 contract

The No. 2 man running the F-35 program, Maj. Gen. C.D. Moore, said the Pentagon wants further cuts from Lockheed Martin when time comes to negotiate for the next batch of stealth fighters.
