Netherlands to buy 2nd F-35, cut number of F-16s

The Dutch defense ministry is planning to cut its F-16 fleet by a third and buy a second F-35 fighter. It also plans to retire its Cougar helicopters.

Trio awarded contracts for SM-3 Block 2B interceptor studies

Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Raytheon were separately given roughly $41 million each to conduct trade studies and initial designs for a new SM-3 Block 2B interceptor.

Iron Dome intercepts three rockets
