Canada completes NATO-Iceland Air Policing Program

A Canadian Forces detachment of five CF-18 Hornet jet fighters last week completed its deployment to Keflavik, Iceland, in support of the NATO–Iceland Air Policing Program.

Turkey gets approval to buy six C-130Es from Saudi Arabia

Turkey has obtained approval from Washington to buy six C-130Es from Saudi Arabia. The first aircraft is expected to arrive later this year.

Taiwan delays Black Hawk, PAC3 purchases

Taiwan has pushed back the purchase of Black Hawk helicopters and PAC3 missiles. A lawmaker attributed the delays to funding shortfall while a defense spokesman said manufacturing delays is the cause.

First C-17 for UAE delivered

Boeing has delivered the first of six C-17s to the United Arab Emirates. Three more C-17s will be delivered this year and two in 2012.
