Taiwan to spend more on indigenous weapons

Taiwan will spend US$517.24m in its 2012 budget plan to produce the Hsiung feng III, Hsiung feng IIE and upgrading of the IDF fighter.

Once approved, it will be the largest amount to be spent on indigenous weapons programs in a single year since 2000.
