The only full-scale mockup of the Grumman X-29 has returned to Long Island after spending 25 years on exhibit at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
The aircraft is now on display at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, N.Y.
