AIM-9X Block II completes back-to-back live fires

The U.S. Navy recently completed two successful live fire test missions on the AIM-9X Block II Sidewinder missile at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division in China Lake, Calif.

RoKAF losing pilots to airlines

South Korea’s air force is losing its senior pilots to civilian airlines. A lawmaker revealed that only 29 majors are to be promoted to lieutenant colonel next year.

UH-1Y fired first APKWS

The U.S. Navy and Marine Corps recently fired the first shots of the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II from a UH-1Y helicopter at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division in China Lake, Calif., Sept. 9-13.
