Boeing will test SolarEagle at Las Cruces, NM

Boeing’s SolarEagle unmanned aircraft for the Vulture II demonstration program will be tested at the Jornada Range, north of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Construction of the facility will be completed by the spring of 2013 and the aircraft will be assembled over a period of three-months before making its maiden flight in the summer of 2014.
