Israeli defense companies lobbying for KAI T-50

Israeli defense companies are pushing for the government to buy KAI’s T-50 advanced trainer to replace the IAF’s aging fleet of A-4 Skyhawks as Seoul has promised to award large defense contracts in return.

Boeing now expected to exceed KC-46A contract ceiling by $500 million

The Pentagon now estimates the KC-46A program will exceed its $4.8 billion ceiling by $500 million. Boeing was projected to exceed the ceiling by $300 million in June.

HSM-35 to stand up with MH-60R and MQ-8B

Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 35 (HSM-35) will stand up at Naval Air Station North Island next year, it will be the U.S. Navy’s first composite squadron equipped with manned and unmanned helicopters.
