Stress grounds Red Arrows’ first female pilot, team to fly with 7 aircraft

The Red Arrows will fly with only seven aircraft this year, going back to nine aircraft during ceremonies, after Flt Lt Kirsty Stewart is switched to a ground-based role.

F-35A’s combat radius extended to 613nm

China hikes defense spending by 11.2 percent

China’s defense spending for 2012 will increase by 11.2 percent to $106.4 billion, parliament spokesman Li Zhaoxing announced on Sunday.
