U.S. Air Force chief Gen. Norton Schwartz said the Israeli Air Force’s had “assisted the United States Air Force efforts in overseas contingency operations in Iraq and Afghanistan” by sharing intelligence on terrorist organizations in the region.
Schwartz wrote that in the certificate for the Legion of Merit awarded to Israeli Air Force chief Maj. Gen. Ido Nehoshtan last week.
