Romania could be forced to keep MiG-29s till 2018

At a press conference on Thursday, Romanian Defense minister Corneliu Dobritoiu said his country might be forced to keep flying the MiG-29 till 2018 if there is no budget to buy its replacement.

  3. Romania does have MiG-29 – offered for sale.
    MoD was mentionning MiG-21 Fishbed instead (20 years older than MiG-29).
