Turkey: F-4 was not in Syrian airspace when shot down

Turkey’s foreign minister said Sunday that the F-4 was in international airspace when it was shot down by Syrian air defenses.

Ahmet Davutoglu said the jet did briefly violated Syrian airspace and it was doing a routine test of Turkey’s radar system.
