RAF Tranche 1 Eurofighters to get Drop 2 update package
The Royal Air Force Tranche 1 fleet will soon be upgraded to the Drop 2 upgrade package. BAE Systems say the “Drop 2 product will provide capability updates to a wide range of Typhoon avionic systems covering the Displays and Controls, Attack and Identification, Defensive Aids and Communication Sub Systems whilst also delivering availability and sustainability improvements to the Tranche 1 Fleet.”

First asymmetric weapons load test for F-35B
F-35B, BF-2, completed the first asymmetric weapons load test flight on Jun. 14 with an AIM-9X Sidewinder inert missile on the starboard pylon, a centerline 25 mm gun pod, and a GBU-32 and AIM-120 in the starboard weapon bay.
