Taiwan’s F-16 upgrade will execute in two phases
Taipei Times reported that Taiwan will upgrade its F-16A/Bs in two phases with the second phase delayed by two years.
The cost of full upgrading is $5.2 billion but the legislative assembly only approve $3.7 billion. $1.5 billion is still needed for the electronic warfare suite which is not ready until 2016.
