A Turkish S-70 helicopter crashed on Jul. 22 in south-eastern Turkey. Four on board were killed while eight others were injured.

F-16 crashed off Japan, pilot rescued
A USAF F-16 pilot had to eject off Hokkaido, Japan on Jul. 22 while on the way to North America. The pilot was rescued by a Japanese vessel and then transferred to an American commercial vessel.
