A AV-8B Harrier from VMA-203 crashed about 15 miles northwest of the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma on Wednesday. The pilot ejected safely.
The aircraft was carrying live ordnance at that time and a cleanup of the crash site was under way Thursday.
